The meeting on the topic of healthy eating at home and at school is scheduled for Saturday 20 January from 16 pm, at the M. Parascandolo Municipal Library in Buonabitacolo. The important initiative to raise awareness in the community on issues related to the correct nutrition of children is a socio-health project "Beyond the barriers", organized by the Social Cooperative "L'Opera di unaltro" and supported by the Fondazione con il Sud. The topics that will be discussed during the meeting and will touch on aspects such as correct nutrition for children, the structuring of school canteen menus and the risks linked to an incorrect diet. The presence of the Mayor of Buonabitacolo, the President of the Cooperative, a nutritional biologist, a person responsible for collective prevention, and a pediatrician is expected, who will allow a multidisciplinary and complete approach. Behind the initiative there will be a tasting of the "healthy snack", a moment dedicated to the little ones.
