Cilento protagonist in Paris. The integrated management plan presented by the company received great appreciation National Park of Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni today at the UNESCO headquarters, in the heart of the French capital, a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower. The Park delegation, composed of the president Giuseppe Coccorullo, the director Romano Gregorio and the head of the Unesco recognition office Aniello Aloia, flew to Paris to the headquarters of the UN organization for Science, Education and Culture, to present the "proposed plan of integrated management of the four UNESCO recognitions attributed to the Cilento territory (Biosphere Reserve, World Heritage, Mediterranean Diet, Geopark), of which the Park is the only referent entity. UNESCO, we read in a note, "has expressed great appreciation and sharing for the work carried out and the direction taken and has extended an invitation to the Cilento Park to present this 'Good Practice' in Morocco next July, on the occasion of the world meeting of Biosphere Reserves. “This important meeting – continues the statement – would not have been possible without the precious and important work of Ambassador Liborio Stellino and all of his staff, to whom a great deal of thanks goes on behalf of the National Park of Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni”. The meeting ended with an invitation to a meeting in the Cilento area. “Naturally – the note concludes – this represents the beginning of a path that will have to continue with the constant participation and sharing by the Italian ministries involved, such as the Mic, the Mase and the Mipaf from which important indications and suggestions will be collected for the improvement of the strategy undertaken".
