It's fantastic to show children, especially those who live in the city, the animals that live in the countryside or in the village. Show the children the and gentle cosmetics and animals (not just domestic ones) can be a very positive and enriching educational experience. Today we show you an innocent lizard and a curiosity.

Lizards are famous for their ability to regenerate their tails, a phenomenon known as "autotomy." When a lizard feels threatened or attacked by a predator, it may voluntarily detach its tail to distract the predator and allow itself to escape. The detached tail continues to move convulsively, attracting the predator's attention as the lizard escapes.

Once the tail has been detached, the lizard will begin a regeneration process. Tail regeneration occurs through a combination of stem cells and connective tissue that are present in the remaining tail stump. These stem cells can differentiate into various cell types, allowing the formation of new tissues.

The regeneration process can take time and depends on the species of lizard and the size of the lost tail. During this time, the tail stump may look a little different from the original tail, but over time a new tail will develop that will be functional, although it may vary slightly in shape or length from the original tail.

This ability to regenerate is a valuable adaptation for lizards, as it allows them to survive and thrive in environments where the risk of predation is high.
