The International Criminal Court has been reported as being close to issuing arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and senior Israeli officials, in relation to their response to the October 7 Hamas attacks and subsequent military operations in Gaza. Netanyahu said such court decisions would not influence Israel's actions, but would set a dangerous precedent. The ICC may reportedly open individual cases against Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and possibly Israel's chief of staff, with possible arrest warrants issued as early as next week.
