The conference "Protection, Enhancement and Promotion of Fico Bianco del Cilento DOP" is scheduled for Sunday 24 March, at 10.00 am, at the "Paestum Wine Festival" Casa Coldiretti. A few days after the establishment of the Protection Consortium, Coldiretti organizes an important event event's audience which aims to promote the excellence of Fico Bianco del Cilento PDO.
In discussion, Italo Santangelo, an expert on PDO economy, the journalist Luciano Pignataro and Nicola Palma, director of the Consortium for the Protection of Fico Bianco del Cilento PDO. The Valorisation and Protection Consortium is working to reconstruct the entire supply chain of Cilento fruit and vegetables, guaranteeing DOP certification and promoting the white fig on national and foreign markets.
The event promoted as part of the Paestum Wine Festival represents an important step towards ensuring that Fico Bianco del Cilento increasingly becomes an international flag for the entire territory.
