The Lega Serie A, formally known as the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A (LNPA), is a private association that includes clubs affiliated to the Italian Football Federation and participating in the Serie A of the Italian football championship. Founded on 1 July 2010, the League's headquarters are in Milan. Its main responsibility is the organization of national football tournaments, such as the Serie A, the Italian Cup, the Italian Super Cup, the Campionato Primavera 1, the Coppa Italia Primavera and the Supercoppa Primavera. Furthermore, starting from 2021, the League will also take care of the national eSports championship and cup. Lega Serie A is part of European Leagues, an association that brings together European professional leagues and promotes the interests of its affiliated clubs.
