Giuseppe Filpi's Italian championship ends in the semi-finals. The hurdler from Cilento, competing in the 60hs, fails to enter the final-eight by a few hundredths of a second, obtaining the eleventh overall time.

The second phase of the Cross Assoluti took place in Avellino. Noteworthy performances by Michela Piermatteo and Marco Gambardella, respectively third overall and first among the promises in the 6km Women and first in the 6km Junior Men.

For Marco and Michela the doors of the national phase scheduled for March in Gubbio open.

Also in Campania, in Naples, it was the turn of the Party of the debutant with multiple tests as protagonists. Podium entirely by Athletics Agropoli in the Allievi Pentathlon with Marco Cavallaro (2908 points) Salvatore Fontana (2721 points) and Raffaele Raiola (2458 points). Among the Women, however, third place and Allieve podium for Silvia Filpi (1741 points). In the multiple tests, another all-Italian podium, first Gerardina Spinelli (3149), second Beatrice Avino (3102) and third Serena D'Avino (3083).

But the good news doesn't end there. The performances of Serena D'Avino and Beatrice Avino are worth access to the Italian Student Multiple Trials Championships scheduled in Padua on 11 and 12 March.
