The palace of Caserta is preparing for May 5th

The Royal Palace of Caserta is preparing for the monthly "Sunday at the Museum" event scheduled for May 5, an initiative of the Ministry of Culture which every first Sunday of the month allows free access to state museums and archaeological sites. This follows the large influx of 12.286 visitors recorded on the day of Party of the Liberation, when entry was free.

For May 5th, tickets will be available both online via TicketOne starting from 11:00 on Monday until sold out, and directly at the ticket office in Piazza Carlo di Borbone from 8:30 on the same day. It is important to note that all visitors, including children aged 2 years and older, must have a valid ticket. Anyone who already has a ticket will have to show up at the central gate in Piazza Carlo di Borbone or in Corso Giannone at the time specified on the ticket, as it will not be possible to access the monument at times other than those indicated.

During the visit, two separate queues will be organised, one for holders of the "Park Only" ticket and the other for those who have the "Park+Apartments" ticket. Some areas of the palace, such as the Vanvitelli Rooms, the Grand Gallery with the “Visions” exhibition, the English Garden and the Court Theatre, will be closed to the public on that day.
