The election of the members of the new Board of Directors National Park of Cilento it was canceled by the Minister of the Environment Gilberto Pichetto Frattin due to the violation of the pink quotas. The Board of Directors was strongly influenced by the Democratic Party which, however, decided to ignore the obligation to indicate at least two women among the four elective members, instead presenting four male names: Carmelo Stanziola, Domenico D'Amato, Rosario Carione and Francesco Bellomo. The cancellation came from Minister Frattin who rejected everything, clearly asking to respect the law on female quotas which establishes that 50% of the nominations, i.e. for every man elected, there must be the same number of female candidates: two men and two women. The elective assembly will therefore have to find the right solution in a very short time.
