After the success of previous editions, the Campania region relaunches the proposal of sustainable tourism by renewing the appointment with historic trains. The ACaMIR (Campania Mobility Infrastructure and Networks Agency) and FS, adopting the MiBACT guidelines, invite you to rediscover the beauties of our home, using the historic and tourist trains that will travel along the most characteristic lines of the Region.
With 69 trips in total, the archaeological trains will give users the opportunity to transport bikes, for increasingly sustainable tourism.
THEArcheotreno will connect Naples with the archaeological areas of Pompeii, Paestum e Velia, the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa. Furthermore, a dedicated line is planned for the province of Avellino with theIrpinia Express which will run along the historic Avellino – Rocchetta railway line.
